Human (Is) Nature is a performance art work that invites the public to reorient toward enchantment with the environment. 

 

Artist Bri Horne will ‘be’ in nature on Bunurong and Boonwurrung Country, from first light to last light, moving however the animal body feels to move for the duration of the sun’s presence. The audience is welcome to participate or observe. 

 

Human (Is) Nature aims to dissolve the conditioned distance between human and nature, and is a soft, active rebelling against the duration of our precious time that is consumed by technology.

 

This performance art work is an exploration of presence as practice: embodied presence with self, with place, with community, and with the more-than-human.
